Characteristics:

AMEO is a bifunctional silane with active amino groups and hydrolyzable inorganic ethoxysilyl groups. The dual nature of its reaction, it can organically bond inorganic materials (such as glass, metals, fillers) and organic polymers (such as thermoplastics, thermosetting plastics or elastomers). It is used as a tackifier, organic / inorganic interface surface modifier (corrosion protection, primer) or silicone polymer or crosslinking agent (moisture crosslinking polymer). It is a colorless and transparent low-viscosity liquid with obvious ammonia odor, soluble alcohol, aliphatic or aromatic hydrocarbons. In addition, it can also be completely dissolved in water and immediately react with water.

Application:

  • Application in coatings, adhesives, sealants:

AMEO is a good adhesion promoter in acrylic paints, adhesives and sealants. lt is used with polysulfides, urethanes, room temperature vulcanised silicone rubber, epoxy resins, nitrile rubbers, phenolic resins in adhesives and sealants, where it increases the dispersion of the filler and maximises the adhesion of the filler to gass, aluminium and steel.

  • Application in glass fiber reinforced resin system:

In glass fiber reinforced thermosetting plastics, AMEO can greatly improve the physical and mechanical properties of wet and dry flexural strength, compressive strength, shear strength and wet electrical properties of plastics.

  • Application inglass fiber and mineral wool insulation:

Used as an additive for phenolic resin adhesives, AEMO can give it excellent moisture resistance and elastic recovery rate.

  • Mineral filled resin system:

AMEO can help maximize the physical and electrical properties of mineral-filled phenolic resins, epoxy resins, polyamides, polyterephthalic acid and many other thermosetting and thermoplastic composite materials. The wetting and dispersion of fillers in the polymer matrix is also generally improved.

  • Application infoundry industry:

When the shell is molded, AMEO improves the strength of the molding sand and reduces the amount of gas generated.

  • Application ingrinding wheel:

In the manufacture of grinding wheels, AMEO helps to improve the phenolic resin bonding and water resistance of abrasion-resistant self-hardening sand.
